It couldn't be held off much longer, I too have LinkedIn and am tweeting myself silly. Just joined LinkedIn after a feature on Quest Means Business on CNN. I thought it was best to secure my spot and make sure information is valid in case someone would try to find me on that particular social networking site aimed at the professional.
I joined Twitter as the simplicity and the recent global attention intrigued me. This micro-blogging stuff really suits my style as I'm usually not that eloquent. I'm looking into possibilities to integrating Twitter into this blog...

New figures part 2: Brave Gohkin AV-98 Ingram

Following the previous post about Soul of Chogokin Spec XS-01R EVA-01 Renewal Version this post will cover the Brave Gohkin AV-98 Ingram 1 & 2.
This set came pretty much fully assembled as the Ingram 1 unit. Extra parts and weapons are supplied to transform the model to unit 2.
I can cover the model myself, but the guys at CollectionDX did this in a 2-part review on YouTube:
This just leaves me to conclude that this a very nice kit I'd recommend to everyone.

New figures part 1: Soul of Chogokin EVA-01

Just recieved a shipment from HobbyLink Japan. I'll cover this in two parts, first up is the Soul of Chogokin Spec XS-01R EVA-01 Renewal Version. Part 2 will cover the Brave Gohkin AV-98 Ingram 1 & 2.
I haven't fully assembled the set as I was in the middle of some work, but I got some box-shots for you here. As you can see the set comes with a gazillion parts, so you can build the EVA unit to several different configurations. The armor parts attach to the rather naked body, heads and hands can be switched to enable EVA 01 to handle the plethora of weapons provided with the kit.
The model is very posable and the weapons have several moving parts too! I'd say this is a great kit, and I'm definitely keeping an eye out for other Soul of Chogokin sets when I decide to order some new stuff.

The folks at Archonia.com let me know that my bonus points were about to expire if I didn't order anything within the next week as points are only valid for 6 months.
So I got to browsing the shop, looking for some nice goodies. I decided to spend some of my points on a Pokemon manga in Japanese, to practice some translating later on, and the DVD of MS Gundam Char's Counterattack as Gundam is always a good buy.

Photoshop CS4

Recently ordered and recieved, a fresh copy of Photoshop CS4 for the Mac.
I did this because I'm moving my standard working platform from Windows to MacOS. And as a company you can't go around working with illegal versions. I did the trial version before ordering and worked with older versions (skipped CS3 though) so I knew what I got.
We can now finally advertise we have the ability to convert PSD files to working and valid XHTML + CSS layouts.
We also had an unexpected setback on the accounting front because of the untimely death of our regular accountant. Her family really came through and arranged a new accountant for us, just in time for the new income tax return.
