America is going to be back in Democratic hands thanks to the historic "landslide" victory Barack Obama has achieved today in the presidential elections. The counting of votes isn't over yet but after a campaign lasting nearly 2 years the US has voted for change, besides choosing the first ever African-American president also giving the democratic party a majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

I hope this will restore the trust of the world in the U.S.A. as a world-power and restore the hope America used to radiate to the rest of the World as it did before Bush Jr.

While cleaning up lately I decided to preserve my NES, which is still in mint condish, by storing it away safely. And what better way to protect it than in it's original packaging?

Last Friday night I went to the media capitol of the Netherlands with Bart, a friend of mine. We went there to visit the studio of Radio538. We were invited to visit the radio show called "Midden in de nacht Rick" which translates into "Middle of the night Rick". That's an appropriate title because the show airs from 0:00 until 3:00 and the host of the show is Rick van Velthuysen.

Usually there are also a few girls (side-chicks) invited to sit in front of the web cam and react to the callers and such. Sometimes a few fugly girls get through the screening but this time they all looked very good so that was a nice addition too ;).

The show is full of nonsense and having fun, so it's no wonder it is the no. 1 night-program in the Netherlands. Sadly enough the show will air for the last time next Friday night, and the host will leave the station for another. Things are going bad for Radio538, they loose or fire all the good DJs they have, and are throwing all the good program formats away...

I finally got myself an iPhone yesterday. In fact, I'm posting this using the iPhone!

I had to add the photo using my pc, it seems the iPhone doesn't handle file uploads. Otherwise I'm well pleased with the functionality of the iPhone, using the Calendar, Mail and iPod works very well combined with my MacBook.

Whoa, old post I've forgotten to publish (created in august, it's now october). Anyway, better late than never!

I've been roaming around eBay lately and won some nice items for the car. They happened to arrive on the same day which was a nice effect. One of the items is a black leather steering wheel, without the airbag because it was taken out in compliance with Japanese legislation.

The other items were a set of TRD front bumper extentions. These match the set of rear TRD bumper extentions I aqcuired a while ago. Now I'll have to find a set of matching sideskirts to complete te set. These will be installed when I get my car resprayed.

On a side note, don't you think calling it "winning" an item is a bit off, you still have to pay so why don't they just call it buying?
