TRD-style Fuel Door

Again a custom made part by Vincent Ma, inspired by the TRD clear fuel door available for the 7th generation Toyota Celica.

The package is quite simple;
one replacement fuel door, I opted for a smoked with black trim door, and a standard fuel cap with a chromed top.

The original door, it's on the spare parts heap now.

Installation was pretty much a bolt-on deal, but it needed a bit of modification (filing) to sit flush and operate smoothly.

Having won an auction for a JDM steering wheel for the Celica we finally got around to installing it in the car. The wheel is a JDM black leather steering wheel with red stitching, which matches up very good with the overall theme of the interior.

My regular custom parts supplier from Hong Kong, Vincent Ma, has been producing a collection of custom faux leather interior parts for the sixth generation Toyota Celica for a while now, and I've bought quite a few items. All in my desired color combination of black leather and red stitching.

Hey I just saw your post. My door actually broke off so I was wondering where you got you new door or maybe if you were willing to sell you door that you took off.

Hi James,

You can find the new door at this thread at 6gc.net. I believe there are still a few left.

I'm currently not selling my old door, in case I need it myself later.
